Early season snow is so exciting. The storm came in last night in proper blizardy fashion with howling winds and heavy snow which pretty quickly turned to windless light fluffy flakes falling all night.
40cm's was on the lawn of Snowball Chalet this morning and after a brief snow clearing session the sun has now popped out.
There is more in the forecast today and tomorrow and then again on the 8th and 9th although that is looking like light snow. This morning's temperature was a pretty mild -2 degrees c but don't worry. Snowball is toasty warm.
We are calling this day one of the cumulative season because this snow will be the first snow that will stick. So. The season so far has had a total of 40cm's :)
