When it snows properly in Japan it really does snow. 58cm's of perfect deep white fluffy pow has blanketed the resort. The sound of snow sliding off the roof in the middle of the night is so good. But also I end up being super excited and then can't get back to sleep. Definitely not complaining though because ironically this is the stuff dreams are made of!!!
The temp is -5 degrees C and it is quite windy so the snow will make for a perfect base for the season.
We had 5 cm's two days ago (which I didn't do a snow report for) so the season total on the Snowball lawn so far is 109cm's!!! And the season hasn't actually started yet. Ooh on that note... Madarao opens tomorrow. Woot woot!!!
