The accommodation couldn't be more beautiful or comfortable, a haven you will never want to leave. Snowman Apartments are filled with ancient Japanese treasures and are perfect for a romantic getaway, a family holiday or a ski trip in one of the snowiest places on earth.
Both apartments have a private Ofuro (Japanese style bath) on the deck that you can soak away the evenings, sipping champagne with snow falling on your head. It is the extreme in zen relaxation for those who have had a big day skiing or snowboarding on the mountain. With a beautiful large lounge, fireplace and super comfy couches you can relax and enjoy the incredible architecture of Snowman Apartments all night long.
You will still receive that famous Snowball Chalet hospitality with help to arrange your whole holiday and if you are feeling lazy and don't want to prepare your meals in the fully featured kitchen you can pop next door to Snowball Chalet for breakfast and we can make dinner reservations for you at the fantastic restaurants of Madarao.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Snowman Apartments, which was perfect in every way. The apartment is beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for family dinners, relaxing, and plenty of space for a family or four.
There are a many many things to do in the area, from hikes, to Monkey Park, countless onsen, and cute towns to walk around in like Obuse. Dan was the consumate host, with fantastic suggestions for every type of activity.
Staying at Snowman Apartments was a highlight of our month long trip, and if I could give it more than five stars I would. I cannot recommend it enough.
